Part-Time Music Teacher​

Weatherfield Academy is a growing 7-19 age range SEND Academy with pupils who have cognition and learning delay and specific learning difficulties, taught in classes of approximately 12 students.

​

Starting in September 2024, we require an experienced Music Teacher to join a vibrant teaching and support staff team. This role will be part-time in the first instance.

​

We are looking for professionals who are innovative thinkers and conscientious workers.  There will be opportunities for professional development in all areas of SEND education.

​

We are looking for experienced teachers, from either a mainstream or special education background, with an enthusiastic and flexible approach, to work in teams alongside committed colleagues. You will be expected to play an active role in all aspects of school life.

​

Our most recent Ofsted inspection (June 2023) noted that “pupils speak about how peaceful their school is, they respond splendidly to the high expectations for their behaviour and collaborate with their classmates. Lunch in the Dining Hall is a happy, sociable affair.”
