Students in LAG and LGA visited Beecroft Community Centre to ask questions and learn about the elderly people’s group childhood memories. We learned lots.
Lucas enjoyed learning about school punishments and how they were caned across the hand or the back of the knee with a cane.
Dylan felt happy meeting new people and hearing a song they sang if they were lucky enough to go to the Odeon to watch cartoons.
Scarlett felt brave asking the question: How did you wash your clothes without a washing machine?
Alek said everyone was friendly and he found out they had to share bedrooms with their brothers and sisters.
All students received a green card for showing exceptional positive behaviour and speaking clearly when delivering a question.
